About the Event
The Trafficking and Exploitation Action Network (T.E.A.N.) is hosting an activity-based, processing workshop for teens and young adults focused on female youth empowerment, valuing ourselves, and leadership through compassion, entitled "The Great Escape," on Saturday, March 23rd at the College Station Fire Department #6 from 9am - 3pm. This group looks at redefining self-care in today's world, while demonstrating healthy, age-appropriate activities, and various ways to heal forward utilizing healthy communication skills in social and supportive ways. "The Great Escape" has been designed to provide the public with insightful methods and local resources to increase daily efficiency, aid in stress management, balance mental health and wellness, and build effective coping skills through the power of self-care.
