The purpose of this group is to share awareness & inspiration through a simple gesture of painting rocks then "hiding" the rocks throughout the Brazos Valley for people to find. Each rock is hand-painted by you, and will have a tag around it with statistics, facts vs myths, upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, awareness information, and the contact info for one of our participating community agencies (Trafficking and Exploitation Action Network, NAMI-BV, Voices For Children, I Am Priceless, Relay For Life, and Rock Prairie Behavioral Health).

 

The goal is to get lots of people all across our communities painting, so there are lots of rocks to be found out there; as well as lots of awareness to be spread. You might find yourself rediscovering parts of our community you haven't visited or appreciated in a while. Get out and ENJOY yourself! Add any of your friends to our group who would be interested in doing this and share the link to this group on your personal social media sites.
